Call Goes Out For Family Court Judge

NEWCASTLE Family Court is seeking a new judge.

Federal member Sharon Grierson said the Government was seeking expressions of interest and nominations for the position.

The vacancy comes after the recent retirement of Justice Graeme Mullane.

The new appointment would bring Newcastle Family Court back up to two full-time locally based judges

The appointment will be advertised in national and local newspapers from today.
